8 Days Wildlife Adventure Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and meet your safari guide. Drive to Lake Natron, a dramatic landscape of volcanic mountains, waterfalls, and alkaline lakes where flamingos breed in the thousands. Settle into your lodge by evening and enjoy dinner with views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, the sacred Maasai mountain.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, a park known for massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive across rolling savannahs where lions, giraffes, wildebeests, and countless bird species thrive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp near the park.
Leave Tarangire after an early game drive and journey toward Serengeti. The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro highlands before descending into the endless plains. Enjoy en-route game drives as you make your way to your lodge in Serengeti. Evening at leisure with dinner and overnight in the park.
Spend the whole day exploring Serengeti’s rich wildlife. Morning and afternoon drives increase your chances of seeing lions, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. With luck, spot predators in action. Return to camp or lodge for dinner and overnight under the starry sky.
Another exciting day in Serengeti dedicated to spotting some of Africa’s biggest animals, including elephants, buffalo, and the elusive black rhino in certain regions. Follow the migration routes or explore riverbanks where crocodiles and hippos live. Overnight at your Serengeti accommodation.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara, a park famed for its tree-climbing lions and pink flamingos along the lake. Game drives here also reveal elephants, giraffes, hippos, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Depart for Lake Eyasi, a unique region offering cultural and scenic attractions. Visit the lakeshore to enjoy birdlife and beautiful views. In the afternoon, explore the history and traditions of local tribes including the Datoga blacksmiths. Overnight at a lodge near the lake.
Early morning, join the Hadzabe Bushmen for a traditional hunting experience using bows and arrows. Learn their unique survival skills and way of life. Afterward, enjoy breakfast and begin your drive back to Arusha or Moshi for your departure flight or onward plans.
