Arusha Day Trip
The only park in Northern Tanzania where you can go on a walking safari is the Arusha National Park. In the Arusha National Park, safari refers to easy hiking accompanied by a ranger. Stepping out of the car, you'll stroll through the tropical forest and observe wildlife. The most incredible feature is that Meru's crater, which is just inside the park and is the second-highest peak in Tanzania and Africa, can be reached on foot. You should definitely include this amazing event to your Tanzanian travels!
Following the walking safari, a jeep will take you to the Momela lakes, the park's most remote area, where you may view pink flamingos among many other creatures.
